NOMADIC OBJECTS
In 2017, Joshua Nierodzinski and Nataša Prljević started creating Nomadic Objects, an ongoing series of collages made from personal documentary, harmonizing the fragments of unwanted artwork salvaged from artist’s studios, streets, and galleries of New York City. Nomadic Objects exist as sort of dissonant sites and letters which bring together color exercises, public and private memorials, architecture, and senses. While each maintains an individual art practice, their collaborative practice includes videos, installations, and books.
In 2018, together with Jelena Prljević, they initiated HEKLER, a transnational artist-run collaborative platform that fosters the critical and experimental examination of hospitality and conflict.
